CAPURGANA CARIBBEAN |
General informationCAPURGANA/COLOMBIAN CARIBBEANCapurganá, in the language of the Kuna Indians called ” tierra del ají “ - land of the pepper -, is located in the gulf of Uraba. With a length of 70 km / 43 miles it is the largest bay in the Colombian Caribbean coastline. The coral reefs and the variety of marine life forms make this place a marvelous diving, snorkeling and free diving area. In Capurgana we find abundant tropical forests and white sand beaches which invites us to extensive hiking tours, horse riding, kayaking and boat excursions. This dive trip is combined with a stay close to Medellin, in the beautiful "Oriente Antioqueño" – the east of Antioquia.
